Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at the civil ceremony on was held in December. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk was doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
